Ok, I know it is a rooster. I have always loved the color, energy of the many unique types of chickens. This rooster looks like he has control of the entire barn.
The title for this painting was inspired by the country song by "Little Feat" called "Dixie Chicken.

This is one of my favorite brands of whiskey. I was experimenting with a new abstract style (inspired by artist Jasper Johns) and really liked the end result. Or maybe I had too many shots of whiskey while painting? I had always wanted to paint this label, it is a classic iconic southern image. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Southern Flag
This painting represents the U.S Flag showing only the Southeastern United States of America. (This is painting does not show all 50 stars and stripes.) The technique is an abstract representation and using Moonshine to create the drips and unique patterns reaction to the acrylic paint. Alcohol and paint do not mix.
The original flag is large and makes a strong impact to where it is displayed.
